This project aims to develop a biometric attendance system that leverages fingerprint recognition to streamline and secure the process of tracking employee or student attendance. It replaces traditional methods like manual sign-ins or RFID cards with a fast, reliable, and tamper-proof solution.
Deliverables
Design Fingerprint Enrollment Interface
Create user interface mockups for the fingerprint enrollment screen, including fields for user ID, name, and fingerprint capture. Ensure intuitive layout and error handling prompts.
Develop Fingerprint Authentication Module
Implement backend logic to capture, match, and verify fingerprints using the selected sensor (e.g., R305). Integrate with local database and return authentication status.

Create a web-based dashboard to display daily attendance logs, filter by user/date, and export reports. Include admin login and basic analytics (e.g., late arrivals)
