Kitui Threads is a digital platform that connects rural Kenyan artisans—especially women weavers and tailors—with global buyers who value handmade, sustainable fashion. The project documents traditional textile techniques, showcases local designs, and enables direct-to-consumer sales through an online marketplace.
Create visually appealing and mobile-friendly templates for showcasing individual artisans. Each profile should include space for bio, photos, product gallery, and a short video.

Visit 5 local artisans in Kitui County and document their stories through photos and short interviews. Focus on their craft, challenges, and aspirations.
Develop a simple backend system that allows artisans or admins to upload products, set prices, and manage inventory. Should support mobile uploads and basic analytics.
Design a launch campaign for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Include 10 posts, 5 reels, and a hashtag strategy to promote Kitui Threads and its artisans.
